Decorating Mini Christmas Trees

If maintaining a large Christmas tree seems a great deal or if you simply want more greenery in addition to the main tree, decorating mini-trees for Christmas is a great idea. Here are some creative ways to decorate miniature Christmas trees in your home for Christmas decor:

1. Rosemary plants make for pretty and fragrant mini Christmas trees when decorated with small lights. This way, you can turn your houseplants into mini-trees and use them year round.

2. Potted Pine and Fir trees can be decorated with small ornaments, beaded garlands and lights and placed all over the house.

3. You can choose a theme or a color scheme for each different mini Christmas tree. Use the classic red and white color scheme on one and a pink-silver modern one on the other. Similarly, decorate one mini-tree on a nutcracker theme and the other on a snowman theme.

4. Use the different trees to display the different ornament collections that you have.

5. You can decorate the tree in each room to match the decor of that room.

6. If you cannot find ornaments small enough, use large beads or clusters of natural berries and small pinecones to dress up your mini tree.

7. Kids can have their own little tree to decorate with their paper and popsicle decorations, candies, cookies and using motifs like gingerbread men and snowmen.
